Not sure what to tell you then. I checked the feat entry and it's set to AllClassesCanUse so it doesn't matter what class you level up with. I also tested building your exact setup 3 different ways (rogue last, fs last, and bard last) and still got the feat as a choice.

Nevermind! I don't know what happened the first time, but I couldn't for whatever reason take Practiced Spellcaster (Favored Soul.) Tried it again a moment ago and it worked like it should. Might have been something else too but didn't notice anything just 5 minutes ago. Strange.

So, I tried making a Canaith Lyrist (Rog 2 / Brd 4 / Fs 4 / CL 10,) with the purpose of using the CL-spellcasting to advance the Favored Soul. It went alright, but I noticed that while leveling up as CL, I could only take spellcasting feats related to the Bard class and not the FS.

So I reckon the PrC isn't given access to all the suitable divine feats?

While on that subject, I do have a question: would it be possible to change the "Arcane 2"-requirement to "Arcane or Divine 2?" As it stands right now, you have to take 4 levels of Bard if you want to make a divine CL, while a Wiz/Sorc-type would get off with only 2 levels. Or is it an issue with balance?

Thanks for all the work you've done!

I should point out that I'm using version 1.33.1 - haven't updated because I was unsure about whether the new versions require 1.21 to function, which I'm not downloading (on dialup here) until I get Storm of Zehir. I know a lot of people don't like bug reports from old versions, but I thought I'd post anyway seeing as I don't see anything about this stuff on recent changelogs. Sorry if I'm rehashing fixed bugs.

Ok, the first thing is that although Elemental Strike seems to work fine (fixed in 1.33.1 I see, though I'd never tried it before that), taking the Extra Elemental Strike feat breaks the targeting, so that it immediately casts on myself.

Second, and this might be old and well known, since I haven't made a Blackguard character before now, but a few of of the Blackguard's spells don't function properly. Darkness and Summon Creature III bring up a ground targeting cursor, but nothing happens when I click. With Bull's Strength I can see the increased stats blink on for the briefest moment but they're then gone again. Umm…actually, I'm pretty sure the rest of them were ok.

Anyway, thanks for all your work on this project, Kaedrin. It's an absolutely huge improvement over the standard game, and it's greatly appreciated.

I just loaded my char in the SoZ campaign and it happened again. My ac is 38, when I equip 2 weapons it goes to 40 and a few moments latter I get a AC bonus of 3 with an icon besides my char's portrait and everything. Also as soon as I get the +3 AC Bonus a message goes up saying I have multiple Items or spells that give Shield AC Bonus and they will no stack… the thing is, they do, for some weird reason, that's why I'm getting the +5 AC…
