You can already add an elemental damage enchantment to a ranged weapon and it will automatically transfer through to any arrows fired.

If you enchant a bow with +5 enchance, +1d6 Cold damage and use cold iron arrows: they will be +5 ab, +5 damage, +1d6 cold damage, cold-iron arrows.

Are you asking for ammo crafting that would make iron + 1d6 cold damage? That would be 4-5 elements * every material (6?) * every weapon (8?) in new recipes/molds.

I'll be adding the normal iron material unlimited arrow enchant as part of the next push.

Forum category: Forum discussion / Custom Content
Forum thread: Archery Re-revisited

quick question, since Kaedrin touched on the ammo issues and creating them.

rather than try to enchant ammo, is there a way you could make a crafting recipe that would allow you to craft the arrow much the same way you craft the cold iron, etc arrows?

that way you aren't trying to enchant them, but you can easily choose the arrow you want when you want it.

if so, I think it would be great to add those recipes. I might try doing something like it myself tonight and let you know how it goes.

NateM

Forum category: Forum discussion / Custom Content
Forum thread: Archery Re-revisited

don't know if you've fixed this or not, but in one of the earlier 1.32 versions I found the following

tested in both the OC and the JEG's training module, not tested in MotB. when using the recipe to craft a regular iron item you only get one instead of the 99 that you would get when crafting with cold iron, etc.

to fix I just made a copy blueprint of the arrow item, deleted the comment of "1" from the item properties, named it as close to your naming convention as possible (to keep it straight for myself) and updated the crafting 2da to use the arrow blueprint I had made. This corrects the issue with arrows.

from my testing bolts also have the same issue, so I'm thinking that all the ammo/thrown will be the same way.

Forum category: Forum discussion / Bug Reports
Forum thread: crafting ammo

Is this with my stand-alone or the combined works?

Edit: It works fine for me in my stand-alone. I memorized Flame Strike, activated the Holy Warrior feat, and got the +5 divine damage bonus.

You need to activate the feat to get the bonus and it will then show up on your character sheet. After activated the bonus will stay as long as you have a valid spell memorized in the list (feat description tells which spells are valid). When it is turned off due to not having any spells left you get a message and just need to re-activate the feat once you have rested.

Forum category: Forum discussion / Bug Reports
Forum thread: Looking for bugs
