Greetings Berk!
As time slowly unfolds in Sigil this page will reveal the champions of the planes that will be called to battle in the time before the Great Faction War. I've signed up to help Rogue Dao Studios deliver some planar and faction prestige classes for their Purgatorio module. The plan is to implement nine prestige classes and a small number of faction feats for the module. In August there will be a series of articles about the PrCs on NWVault that reveal more of the classes that will be available. After they are revealed their descriptions will be available here. Of the nine prestige classes I'm doing for Purgatorio, only one has ever been mentioned on this website so they will be "new" to those familiar to the site. Planescape Torment is one of my favorite CRPGs so this is going to be good!
Without further ado, the first of the nine (and yes, I will be unable to resist borg jokes when we get to 7 of 9) is one I've had on my list for a while but it never quite struck a chord for general use.
Prestige Classes for Purgatorio
- Elemental Warrior - The elemental warrior sees that great strength comes from focusing on the most basic aspects of reality.
- Whirling Dervish - Some rogues and monks, especially those that belong to the Ciphers, choose to concentrate on their movement and speed rather than on raw damage.
- Bleaknik (The Bleak Cabal) - The typical Bleaknik is a poet, but they also engage in painting (largely in dark shades), dirges, or even near-suicidal stunts.
- Knight of the Cage (Mercykillers)
- Ardent Dilettante (Sensate)
- Death Blade (Dustmen)
- Enforcer of Law (Harmonium)
- Optimist (Godsmen)
- Doomlord (Doomguard)
